HOW DO I USE CALLER ID?

Caller ID provides you with information about the phone number and/or person attempting to call you. On bar phones, the caller ID information will appear on the main screen. On flip phones, the caller ID information will appear on the external screen (if the phone is closed).

During an incoming call, you will see one of the following messages on your screen:


•  The area code and phone number (and contact name, if the phone number is stored in your phone's address book) of the incoming call.

•  RES or PRIVATE, if the caller blocks or restricts the display of the phone number.

•  UNA or NO ID, if the incoming call originates from a location where caller ID is not available.


If you choose not to answer the incoming call, your phone will store the phone number in reverse chronological order (with the most recent calls first) and will display a message about a missed call. See your owner's manual for details on retreiving the stored phone number.
